Drone Photogrammetry

In 2025, I received a grant from my university funding the creation of 3D terrain assets via aerial photogrammetry. I scanned large landscapes for the benefit of my fellow university students; everything I created was stored to an open asset library.

Cleanup

Epic Games' RealityScan software was used to generate the 3D assets. I used Houdini to retopologize and remove non-manifold/low-resolution areas of the scans.

Scanning

Scans were done in the wider Massachusetts area using a DJI Mini 4 Pro drone.
